What are your personal bests?
I have had some quite impressive personal bests in my late 20s (in my humble opinion) of: 19 minutes for 5k; 42 minutes for 10k and 1h:41m for a half marathon. After more than a decade off running and having had two children I have ‘re-set’ by PBs and now my new PBs are 24 minutes for a 5k; 51 minutes for 10k and 1h:54m for a half marathon.

What do you like about running?
How accessible it is; all I need are my trainers and a good sports bra.

What are your tips for the day?
Start slow, keep steady and if you have any energy left, go hard at the end. This method is so much more satisfying than going hard, slowing down and then crawling over the line. Trust me, I’ve done both.
